-
| FAQID: FAQ030819 |

I made some changes to the lines on
the voice mail and my Avaya Magix, now my message waiting lights
won't work.
-
| FAQID: FAQ030821 |
Version: All |
The Magix/Legend wants the same extension that
turned on the MWI to turn off the MWI. Otherwise, the light
will not extinguish.
In order for the MWIs to function again, you must turn off
the MWI manually:
On the system phone itself, press the 'Menu' button and
select 'More' until 'Messages' appear on the dislplay.
Select 'Messages' and choose the 'Delete' function. This
will turn off the MWI. |
I have several people complaining
their messages are delayed in getting to their mailbox.
-
| FAQID: FAQ030824 |
Version: All |
Most of these are usually not as a result as a
'delayed' message but rather the message waiting indication
sent by the voice mail was not processed or received by the
phone system. The most common phone system to have this
occur is the Avaya Legend/Magix line.
With the help of a phone system technician, remove the
notification port extension from the voice mail hunt group.
This will use the notification port strictly as a
notification port. This will also lessen the possibility of
an occurence called a 'collision'. |

using a Mitel ONS/ML/EL phone system and it just plays the main
greeting.

The voice mail system expects a # and the extension number

system also expects a * and the extension number when
subscribers try to log into their mailbox using their
phones.

manual or download from the DuVoice website at
