The phones contain a surge arrestor to prevent voltage damage. Each unit includes a heavy-duty G Type industrial handset and a vandal resistant armored handset cord. An electret noise reducing microphone ensures clear sound quality. When the handset is lifted on the ringdown models, the call is automatically routed to its assigned location.
