IDA8 PA and Voice Evacuation System (Low Impendance Slave Unit)

Ateis IDA8SL is a Low-Impedance Slave unit PA and Voice Evacuation System with advanced matrix control functions and a digital message player, low-impedance line monitoring, audio digital signal processing (DSP), along with amplifier monitoring with hot-swap amplifiers. The IDA8SL can also support up to two PSS-AS monitored microphone consoles, up to four monitored amplifiers plus two backup amplifiers and paging into 4 different zones per unit with line detection. Each input and output channel have a wide range of processing devices such as routing mixers and switches, volume controllers, priority and paging components, equalizers, compressors, limiters and delay-lines.

IDA8SL Slave units can extend the IDA8 system configuration with an additional 4 output zones and 2 back-up amplifiers. The voice evacuation system can store up to 4 hours of digital messaging for live or scheduled playback. Files are uploaded in WAV format from a computer using the ATEÏS Studio system GUI. Several messages can be played into different zones: up to 4 from a single IDA8SL or a total of 48 messages across a full IDA8 system with slaves.

The IDA8SL can be configured with ATEÏS-Studio global software (Windows compatible) and it can be protected with a secure password. Once the software is programmed, the system will be able to work off-line without the need of a connected PC. The IDA8SL-Slave operates either on AC mains power or on a 24V DC battery power supply for emergency back-up, with automatic switchover. Both of the power supplies are monitored.
