  • Telcom & Data Reintroduces Motor Bell from Wheelock to Emergency Notification Products

MB Series Motor Bells by Cooper Wheelock Wheelock delivers durable operation and dependable performance required for life safety alarm systems

Telcom & Data Inc., a leader in Mass Notification Systems, announced today their reintroduction of motor bells in their emergency notification product offerings. Wheelock’s motor bells will enhance Telcom & Data’s emergency notification product offerings because motor bells are commonly used as a school bell or as a fire bell in military buildings and public settings. The MB Series by Wheelock is in high demand because so many people trust Wheelock as a manufacturer of heavy duty products that provide durable operation and dependable performance at a reasonable price.

The Wheelock MB Series motor bells are offered in 6” and 10” sizes for 115 or 24-volt AC operation in indoor and outdoor installations. All motor bells are UL listed for Fire Protective Service and provide a high sound output with low power consumption. Red bells and gray bells are available. Additionally, Wheelock motor bells can be mounted with RSSP Remote Plates that feature a built-in emergency strobe.

When asked about the importance of reintroducing the line of motor bells, Ricardo Trinidad, president of Telcom & Data, said, “Wheelock Motor Bells have been the standard for a very long time because they are well built and work forever. Our customers don’t want to settle for anything less.”

The MB line of motor bells by Wheelock was unavailable for almost a year, due to a shortage on a part that was used in the production of the motor bells.
